Vincent McInerney has served in the merchant navy, studied philosophy at Liverpool University and worked as a part-time script editor for the BBC for ten years. As well as writing stage plays, TV and film commissions and a novel, Fakes, he has had a number of plays, stories, documentaries and adaptations broadcast by BBC radio. He is a member of the Part-Time Tutors' panel at Birkbeck College and at the School of Continuing Education, Cambridge University, and is a past recipient of a Goethe Institut Scholarship to Berlin.
