Thomas M. Reidy was born in Elmira, New York. Recognizing leadership skills that were a natural for him, he was renowned as a student leader at an early age. In 1971, his academic achievements were recognized in "Who's Who in Junior Colleges." Reidy went on to receive a Bachelor of Arts degree from St. John Fisher College, Rochester, NY in 1973.The National Council of YMCA's selected Thomas Reidy as a delegate for an international youth conference in 1976. Traveling to Kiev, USSR, Reidy received international recognition in the March, 1977 edition of Soviet Life Magazine. Achieving such impressive ambitions only four years after college graduation, while serving as an American delegate, opened his mind to the principles of leadership, not only nationally, but leadership on a global level. Returning to the United States, Reidy was honored to be included in the 1978 edition of Outstanding Young Men of America.During the economically troubled times of the 1980's, Reidy became a financial consultant and later a division manager for a national investment firm. His list of honors continued to excel, including recognition as Outstanding Financial Planner of 1985, and designation as a Certified Financial Planner, 1988.Recalling his talent as a leadership ambassador, Reidy developed a new business leadership coaching programs in 2002. When his daughter witnessed a tragic accident in February 2004, he researched student rioting in an academic setting. He discovered student intoxication, combined with immaturity, and violence led to the lack of accountability. Reidy recognized it was time to take action and deliver a significant leadership message to students, colleges, universities and anyone who wished to hear how riots, violence and intoxication lead to the destruction of leadership.
