Understanding Abuse and Neglect

This program provides CNA's with an understanding of what constitutes abusive and neglectful behavior. After watching the video, participating in class discussion, reading handouts, and taking tests, CNA's will be able to: give a definition of abuse and neglect, describe examples of abuse and neglect, give an example of the misues of restraints, give an example of the misuse of a resident's personal property, and describe the action that should be taken when a CNA notice signs that a resident may have been abused or neglected.
