James S. Peters, II received his Ph.D. in Counseling and Clinical Psychology from Purdue University where he was a Veterans Administration Fellow and Research Associate. His undergraduate degree was completed at Southern University, Baton Rouge, Lousiana. He holds a Master of Arts degree in Social Psychology from the Hartford Seminary Foundation; Master of Science degree in Clinical Psychology, Illinois Institute of Technology; and has done graduate work in Psychology at the University of Chicago, where he was a Clinical Psychology intern in the Veterans Administration Program. Dr. Peters did post-doctoral studies at Harvard University in Psychiatric Rehabilitation.
