Sexually Abused And Sexually Exploited Children And Youth in the Greater Mekong Subregion

Sexual abuse and sexual exploitation of children and youth are issues of growing concern in the Greater Mekong Subregion, which includes Cambodia, China, Lao People's Democratic Republic, Myanmar (Burma), Thailand and Vietnam. The study identifies common physical, psychological and social health problems of sexually abused and exploited children in all six participating countries. The publication also explores the services available and identifies their shortcomings in meeting the health needs of the children.
