Report of the Technology and Economic Assessment Panel : HCFC Task Force Report

Hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HCFCs) will remain an important transitional substance” in the replacement of chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) in refrigeration and air conditioning, cleaning, and other speciality uses. This report examines whether sufficient, good quality, HCFCs are available at affordable prices, to meet basic domestic needs as stipulated under article 5 (1) that places a freeze on production of the substance.
