Volume One contains general instructions applicable in any jury trial, including interrogatories & closing instructions. Volumes Two & Three (combined into one book) treat civil instructions by specific topic, covering such diverse subjects as defamation, malpractice & presumption of paternity. Volume Four contains criminal instructions. Part One includes basic instructions, such as waiver of counsel, accepting a plea & lesser included offenses. Instructions for specific crimes appear in Part Two. Ohio Jury Instructions undergoes periodic revision as the Jury Instructions Committee develops new instructions. Subscribers receive new & revised instructions as they are published in a newsletter format.
