Essential for users of Volume I of this edition, Volume III contains the "Index Nominum" as well as the "Index Fontium." The former is an alphabetical index of all proper names (names including those mentioned in ancient work titles, places, months etc. plus their adjectival derivatives) along with references to the sources, structured by book and chapter of the Diogenes text. A brief explanatory characterization in Greek or Latin is given whenever possible.
