Firehouse Memories

I guess once a fireman, always a fireman. It must get in your blood. I retired from active duty and still find myself involved in E.M.S. This book is about my first days as a fire recruit and working in the communications department as a dispatcher. This book is written from a journal kept for over 25 years. The events written about in this book are from actual events and happenings, most of which I was involved and witnessed. As I finish these writings, our country is in the wake of the World Trade Center terrorist attacks in New York City. What I did in my career would not hold a candle to the bravery of all the fire and police involved in this incident. Thanks, guys; my thoughts and prayers go out to all that gave their lives to save the lives of others. This kind of bravery ties all fire and police throughout the world together.
