Day-by-Day Chronology of Mr. Sherlock Holmes

Based on the chronologies of Ernest B. Zeisler (1953) and Jay Finley Christ (1947), William S. Dorn has compiled a day-by-day account of the cases of the world's most celebrated detective. Page references are given to the two chronologies as well as to the well-known Doubleday edition of The Complete Sherlock Holmes. Here is a typical entry Tuesday, July 17, 1888; Silver Blaze won the Wessex Cup (Z, 88; D, 348) where Z refers to the Zeisler chronology and D refers to the Doubleday edition. There are five original illustrations by two Sherlockian illustrators, Nancy Beiman and Philip Cornell.
