Is there a fee to use this service?

ValoreBooks charges no fees for any of our liquidation services.

What types of inventory do you accept?

We only accept textbook inventory that has an International Standard Book Number (IBSN). We do not guarantee that you will receive a price quote for your textbook inventory.

How do I find the ISBN number on my book?

The ISBN is a 10 or 13 digit number that is unique to a particular title, author, edition, and publisher. It can be found on the back cover of your book.

What if my book doesn't have an ISBN?

Confirm that there is no ISBN on the front or back cover, or in the first or last few page of the book. Older books may have just the ISBN listed without a barcode. If your book was published prior to 1970, then it may not have an ISBN.

Import Inventory

How do I import my textbook inventory?

There are two ways to import your textbook inventory which can be found on the “Liquidate Inventory” page. The first import option is to upload an inventory file, a sample file is provided on the “Liquidate Inventory” page. The second import option is to copy and paste a list of the ISBNs for your inventory into our import input field.

What ISBN formats do you accept?

We accept ISBN-10 and ISBN-13.

What are the supported file formats?

When importing an inventory file, the following file formats are supported: .xls (excel 97-2003 or greater), .xlsx, .txt (tab delimited), .csv (common separated), .pdl (pipe delimited).

What are the inventory import limits?

Per File Import - 10,000 ISBN requests

Per Pasted List Import - 10,000 total ISBN requests

Per week, each Seller is limited to 50,000 unique ISBN requests.

Inventory Processing

How long will it take to process my inventory?

Your requested quotes should be processed in a couple of minutes, once complete, your page will automatically refresh to display your inventory quote results. If this process exceeds 10 minutes, contact seller services at liquidation@valorebooks.com.

What if I close my browser window before processing is complete?

You can access your inventory quote results from the “My Liquidations” page on the Seller homepage.

What if errors occur while processing my inventory file?

You will be able to download a log file outlining processing errors on the Quote Results page.

Liquidation Quote Results

How long will the quoted inventory prices be available?

ValoreBooks will honor all quoted prices for 5 hours.

What happens when the 5 hour timer expires?

The 5 hour timer represents both how long we will honor the prices quoted to you for your inventory and how long you have to evaluate and accepted any desired quotes. When this timer expires, your quotes will no long be reserved and you will have to submit a new request for inventory quotes.

Can my quotes change?

ValoreBooks will honor all quoted prices for 5 hours but Buyer quantities are not reserved and are subject to change. In the event that there is a change to the quantity of a quote, this change will be highlighted on the Quote Results page. We also provide a filter to only view quotes results that have changed.

Can I export my quote results?

Yes, you will be able to export your Quote Results in the following file formats: .xls (excel 97-2003), .xlsx, .txt (tab delimited), .csv (common separated), .pdl (pipe delimited).

Checkout

How do I accept inventory quotes?

After you’ve selected all of your desired quotes, click the “Proceed to Checkout” button on the Quotes Results page. During the checkout process you will be asked to select your payment method and enter your payment and shipping information. Note: once you place your liquidation order, you will be required to ship your inventory within 7 days or your order maybe canceled.

What are the payment options?

You can choose to be paid by Check or PayPal. Check payments may take up to 7 to 14 business days to arrive after processing. PayPal payments may take up to 7 business days to arrive after processing.

Shipping

Which shipping carries do you support?

At this time we only support Fed-Ex.

What if I need to reprint a shipping label?

Once an order is placed, you will be able to reprint previously requested shipping labels from the “My Liquidations” page.

Once an order is placed, you will be able to print additional shipping labels from the “My Liquidations” page.
